In this blog, one will come across certain changes in body that shows the signs of early stages of diabetes.

The first and foremost thing that one needs to stay aware about is foot. Ensure to look after your feet properly and regularly, because onset of diabetes can cause foot problems. The nerves of feet stop working and hence, people won’t feel any sensation while they have cut on their feet or burned. Other symptoms that are associated with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes are listed as follows:

Urinating more frequently than usual (especially in night):  Excessive sugar levels interfere with the kidney to concentrate urine which results in excessive urination.

Feeling more thirsty: If one feels more thirsty that usual, even after drinking plenty of water, understand that something is wrong in body. However, this is the early sign of diabetes.

Feeling tired: Though, feeling tired can be due to several reasons, but, one among them is also due to low blood sugar.

Causing  Thrush: Thrush is very common in people having diabetes, as increase in sugar levels can cause yeasts to grow.

Slow healing of cuts and wounds. As diabetes directly affects the immune system, hence, increased level of blood sugar cause arteries to become stiff and narrows down the blood vessels which plays important role in blood circulation. This cause slow healing of wounds.

Feeling depressed and moody: When your blood sugar level rises, you don’t feel well. You stay depressed, short tempered, don’t feel like doing anything, don’t want to move out and only want to feel asleep.

Blurred vision: In early stage of diabetes, you feel that your vision gets blurred. This is because your eye lens doesn’t work properly as glucose builds up in eye.

Feet numbness: Due to increase blood sugar level, there is mild damage of nerve. This cause numbness in feet.

However, these are some of the silent symptoms of early diabetes. Often these symptoms are ignored by all of us, but keeping an eye on all these is the smartness to act over the onset of diabetes.
